About Hudson Arts Collective

Creativity. Community.
Small business.

Hudson Arts Collective is a Black-led creative and small-business platform based in Jersey City, New Jersey. We bring people together through independent film, local events, and shared experiences—and build tools that help the businesses behind them grow.

Our purpose

Make room for ideas.
Give them a way forward.

A film deserves an audience. A local business deserves visibility. A creative idea deserves the planning and support that can turn it into something people experience.

HAC connects those needs through programming, partnerships, and practical business systems. Our work starts in Jersey City and reaches beyond it through independent storytelling and digital experiences.

We want to make it easier for people to discover each other, create together, and keep building.

What we do

One collective.
More ways to connect.

01 / Independent film

JCIFF + Film Vault

The Jersey City Independent Film Festival connects independent filmmakers with audiences through screenings, discussions, and creative programming. Film Vault extends that discovery online.

Systems that support the work

HAC OS began as the system behind our own operations. Through HAC OS Business Solutions, we help small businesses and creative teams organize projects, relationships, responsibilities, and everyday work.
